An electric movement dripping with illusionistic effects exploiting patterns, color, and contrast was stirring. Inhibitions took notice, yielding to extraordinary bursts of creativity. A revolution in the arts was on the cusp of becoming something grand.
And then it took root. A movement. A counterculture full of expression and innovation. The fashion, rich in color, reference and effect, marked the liberation of the imagination in a complex fusion of graphic elements.
As Robert Graham approaches a decade in design and fashion, our following, our customer, our collectors have become part of a movement of their own — reacting against the norm of wardrobe choices — in search of an artistic expression brimming with boldness, exquisite patterns and definitions of character.
The movement of the late 60’s happened many moons ago, but the true Robert Graham man has yet to relinquish his thirst for adventure and passion for expression.
